MMMMMMMM...Good is right!!! I think they taste better than any other trout! I've been getting things in order so we have a safe trip. I replaced the wheel bearings in the boat trailer and serviced my truck. I hope everything goes well. I'm really excited about going. It's been 7 or 8 years since I took a vacation. I caan't wait! The days are just dragging, knowing I only have a week till I leave.

There are still Brook Trout in there, just have to be in the right place at the right time...another one of my spots !!! Mokai and I still harvest one a year for a camp lunch, from the lake to the BBQ in less than 1/2 hour, MMMMMMM good. Good luck and have a safe trip.

I haven't been there for several years...I love that lake. I only wish there were still the big Eastern Brookies that were in there till someone put Bass in the lake. I'm going to try and talk my Dad to take atleast part of a day and go there while were at Paulina and East lakes in a couple weeks. I'd love to try it again! Last time I went I caught several brookies that were 5+ pounds!

That lake is the Trout captial of Central Oregon....if you ever get the chance to make it over there let me know and we can make a day of it and I will be more than Happy to show you my special spots... This fish tiped the scale at 6.23 lbs., and put up quite a battle, and she is still there... Catch photgraph and release...
