Lost a rod myself to a Trout before, went in after it....very stupid move; very stupid.

You guys and your Sturgeons, fish you measure in feet; at least it leaves more room on the boat launch at the lake......I will stick to Trout. At least they don't try to pull you out of the boat . Haven't been doing much angling lately, my wife had an accident and broke her foot. So its pay back time for all the care she has given me over the years, so lots of house work and very little fishing. Thank god she had the forsite to elect for disability and accident insurance (AFLAC) great insurance I highly recommend it....great stuff.

Have you been doing much fishing? I haven't been out for a while...but am going sturgeon fishing thursday. They've been knocking them dead, I sure hope I can get a keeper finally!

welcome back I was beginning to think that you migrated or something good to see you back.

Sorry everyone for not being here for the last few weeks! I had to pay taxes this year and had to skip payments on some of my bills to come up with some money to pay the IRS. One of the bills was my phone bill and they shut me off. It took me a few weeks to get everything all caught back up. Since I didn't have a phone I didn't have internet access. So I hope the site didn't suffer while I was gone. I know I haven't changed the header photo with the new winner of the photo contest but I will in the next few days. I see we have a few new members and I would like to welcome them to the site...I hope we will be hearing some fishing stories from them and all the members of the site. It doesn't look like much happened while I was away, so come on people lets see some new posts from all of you! PLEASE!!! I'm going to take my Dad sturgeon fishing next Thursday the 22nd. I hope we'll have something to post even if it's in the Skunk thread. I'm glad to be back And, again welcome to the new members!!!
